Overview of the Problem and EXCEEDANT Solution

As a result of COVID-19, millions of retail, office, multifamily and industrial commercial real estate landlords and tenants are confronting intense pressure to restructure their rent/lease obligations.  The size of the market is significant, with some retailers occupying thousands of locations.  EXCEEDANT has developed Special Online Courses and a Commercial Real Estate System in order to assist commercial real estate landlords, tenants and their professional advisors, such as lawyers and real estate brokers, working in all sectors (ex. retail, office, multifamily, industrial) with the problems caused by COVID-19 and beyond.  In addition, many professional advisors (ex. brokers, attorneys) are required to satisfy continuing education requirements through online training courses – opening up additional markets for the online courses as well as supportive special services and referral business which the successful candidate can participate in commissions/bonuses for.

EXCEEDANT is seeking positive, enthusiastic people who enjoy helping people – to introduce these special Online Courses and Commercial Real Estate System in demand and needed due to COVID-19 – to various markets across the country.  Markets include geographic markets as well as discrete industry segments.  The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, establishing contact with potential new customers and following up on potential leads. The successful candidate will receive Onboarding, training, continual positive support via Zoom, phone, etc., as well as other EXCEEDANT resources (ex. corporate email, online corporate accounts etc.) for their business development efforts.         Responsibilities

  • Generate sales reports each week and submitting them to management
  • Utilize leads generated by EXCEEDANT and/or available online tools and other resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into clients/customers
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence in your territory and across the USA
  • Attend online events or participate in online discussions to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
  • Update client/customer information in the company contact database
  • Other responsibilities as needed

    Skills and Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or other field required
  • Advanced Degree is preferred for Director positions OR equivalent evidence of sales success and/or commercial real estate industry-related experience
  • 3+ years’ outside sales experience and/or commercial real estate (ex. either retail/office/multifamily/industrial sector) experience required
  • Must be willing and able to work remotely (ex. reliable Internet connection, phone, private/quiet remote workspace, ability to participate in EXCEEDANT Hosted Zoom Video or Phone meetings, etc.)
  • Documentation showing ability to live and work in the United States (e.g. drivers license, etc.) as well as a recent background check is required, if further interest is shown by our talent acquisition team
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of commercial real estate and/or franchise/retailer principles and issues
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction, although training and ongoing support exists
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude
  • Three (3) Professional references/letters of recommendation are recommended
  • This is an independent contractor position with flexible work hours
  • This position is commission, incentive-based with rewards matching successful results
  • There is an opportunity for advancement and/or base if the suecessful candidate meets criteria of management
